Fedora Update Notification
2008-02-19 02:47:14

Name : eclipse
Product : Fedora 8
Version : 3.3.0
Release : 31.fc8
URL : http://www.eclipse.org/
Summary : An open, extensible IDE
Description :
The Eclipse Platform is designed for building integrated development
environments (IDEs) that can be used to create applications as diverse
as web sites, embedded Java(tm) programs, C++ programs, and Enterprise

Update Information:

This update fixes issues with memory usage and the help system. It is not an
update to as we previously tried as that had startup issues we need to
rectify. It would be great to get some feedback regarding the memory settings
in /usr/lib{,64}/eclipse/eclipse.ini. If PermGen errors continue to happen,
please try increasing the values in that file and create a new bug with values
that work for you. x86_64 systems are of particular interest here. On the off
chance that existing problems persist or new issues appear, please try running
with the -clean option from the command line. You can also try *temporarily*
moving ~/.eclipse out of the way (note: some of your settings may be lost)
and/or try with a new workspace (use the -data option to specify a new location;
again, watch out for missing preferences).
