Name        : nspluginwrapper
Product     : Fedora 8
Version     :
Release     : 15.fc8
URL         : http://gwenole.beauchesne.info/projects/nspluginwrapper/
Summary : A compatibility layer for Netscape 4 plugins
Description :
nspluginwrapper makes it possible to use Netscape 4 compatible plugins
compiled for ppc into Mozilla for another architecture, e.g. x86_64.

This package consists in:
  * npviewer: the plugin viewer
  * npwrapper.so: the browser-side plugin
  * mozilla-plugin-config: a tool to manage plugins installation and update

Update Information:

Upstream nspluginwrapper discovered the actual problem of the Flash Player crash. nspluginwrapper was expecting multithreaded plugins to themselves link and initialize for multithreading. nspluginwrapper now itself links to libgthread-2.0 and initializes multithreading in npviewer.

This update removes the previous workaround that restricted a browser plugin to a single core. Multithreaded plugins like Flash Player should work a bit more smoothly on multiple core systems.
