Summary     : A feature-rich user backup program
Description :
fwbackups is a feature-rich user backup program that allows users (including
but not limited to root) to backup their files on demand or periodically via
backup sets. Each set may have different settings meaning users can backup
groups of files and folders to different destinations at different times.
Restores can be performed at any time using an existing backup from fwbackups
or from the contents of an external folder or archive.

Update Information:

This package includes fwbackups 1.43.3rc3, which includes many feature,
usability, security and stability enhancements. Some of the new improvements
are:  - Permissions of the fwbackups user directory are changed to prevent
unauthorized access to stored passwords  - Backing up files will now show the
backup progress as well as the name of the current file being backed up  -
Support for restore operations from remote folders has been added  - A problem
where a failing backup operation could cause fwbackups to hang on exit has been
resolved
