Gwibber is an open source microblogging client for GNOME developed with Python
and GTK. It supports Twitter, Jaiku, Identi.ca, Facebook, and Digg.

Update Information:

Update from upstream revision 239, which enables integration with the GNOME
keyring and support for notification bubbles to detect capabilities of specific
microblogging services. Update from upstream revision 237, which returns
identi.ca URLs back to http:// (not merged into 1.0 branch), an error window
fix, and other minor bug fixes. Update upstream to r234, which includes a bug
fix in switching identi.ca to http://, localized time, changes to the
defaultsmall theme in tandem with default theme, and a new theme called
"funkatron". Update to upstream revision 223, which includes these enhancements:
show reply to links from Laconica servers; only runs new gwibber if one isn't
running already; better support for adding Jaiku, Ping.fm, and Facebook
accounts; support for showing a Twitterer's user timeline in a new tab; and
other programming and translation improvements and bugfixes.
