Fedora Update Notification
2009-07-02 04:59:53

Name        : libev
Product     : Fedora 10
Version     : 3.60
Release     : 1.fc10
URL         : http://software.schmorp.de/pkg/libev.html
Summary : High-performance event loop/event model with lots of features
Description :
Libev is modelled (very losely) after libevent and the Event perl
module, but is faster, scales better and is more correct, and also more
featureful. And also smaller.

Update Information:

* 3.60 - multiple timers becoming ready within an event loop iteration will be
invoked in the "correct" order now. - do not leave the event loop early just
because we have no active watchers, fixing a problem when embedding a kqueue
loop that has active kernel events but no registered watchers (reported by
blacksand blacksand). - correctly zero the idx values for arrays, so destroying
and initializing the default loop actually works (patch by Malek Hadj-Ali). -
implement ev_suspend and ev_resume. - new EV_CUSTOM events flag for use by
applications. - add documentation section about priorities. - add a glossary
to the documentation. - extend the ev_fork description slightly. - optimize a
jump out of call_pending. * 3.53 - fix a bug in event pipe creation on win32
that would cause a failed assertion on event loop creation (patch by Malek Hadj-
Ali). - probe for CLOCK_REALTIME support at runtime as well and fall back to
gettimeofday if there is an error, to support older operating systems with newer
header files/libraries. - prefer gettimeofday over clock_gettime with
USE_CLOCK_SYSCALL (default most everywhere), otherwise not.

* Mon Jun 29 2009 Michal Nowak <mnowak at redhat.com> - 3.60-1
- previous version was called "3.6" but this is broken update
  path wrt version "3.53" -- thus bumping to "3.60"
* Mon Jun 29 2009 Michal Nowak <mnowak at redhat.com> - 3.6-1
- 3.60
- fixed few mixed-use-of-spaces-and-tabs warnings in spec file
