Name : mdadm
Product : Fedora 10
Version : 2.6.9
Release : 1.fc10
URL : http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/raid/mdadm/
Summary : The mdadm program controls Linux md devices (software RAID arrays)
Description :
The mdadm program is used to create, manage, and monitor Linux MD (software
RAID) devices. As such, it provides similar functionality to the raidtools
package. However, mdadm is a single program, and it can perform
almost all functions without a configuration file, though a configuration
file can be used to help with some common tasks.

Update Information:

A new mdadm package has been built for F10. This updates to the last 2.6 series
mdadm release prior to the new mdadm 3.0 series. There are significant changes
to incremental device assembly with this mdadm update. All users are encouraged
to remake their kernel initrd image and reboot after installing this update to
ensure that their raid arrays will continue to be detected properly on future
kernel updates.
