Name : audacious-plugins
Product : Fedora 10
Version : 1.5.1
Release : 10.fc10
URL : http://audacious-media-player.org/
Summary : Plugins for the Audacious media player
Description :
Audacious is a media player that currently uses a skinned user interface
based on Winamp 2.x skins. It is based on ("forked off") BMP.

This package provides essential plugins for audio input, audio output and
visualization.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

Since one ALSA output plugin patch included in the previous update causes
significant cpu usage overhead on some hardware (albeit makes the plugin safer
with regard to risk of deadlocks), this update contains the "alsa-ng" output
plugin code taken from Audacious 2.1 development. It's a rewrite of the plugin,
which removes old cruft and design problems. It is to be considered a preview
only, however, because Audacious 1.5.1 is a dead end.
