Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2010-5877
2010-04-03 03:56:27
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : iftop
Product : Fedora 11
Version : 0.17
Release : 10.fc11
URL : http://www.ex-parrot.com/~pdw/iftop/
Summary : Command line tool that displays bandwidth usage on an interface
Description :
iftop does for network usage what top(1) does for CPU usage. It listens to
network traffic on a named interface and displays a table of current bandwidth
usage by pairs of hosts. Handy for answering the question "why is our ADSL link
so slow?".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

Added a patch which works around a PuTTY issue (PuTTY unfortunately doesn't
honor vt100 line-drawing when in UTF-8 mode) to get sane lines drawn instead of
letters. When using PuTTY in UTF-8 mode, you have to execute
"NCURSES_NO_UTF8_ACS=1 iftop" in the future.
