- Update to kernel 2.6.35 - Disable the RAID multicore option, which can
cause hundreds of kernel threads to be spawned and also causes corruption of
RAID partitions.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update kernel' at the command line.
