Description :

The gnome-desktop package contains an internal library
(libgnomedesktop) used to implement some portions of the GNOME
desktop, and also some data files and other shared components of the
GNOME user environment.

Update Information:

Martin Sourada recently wrote an email:    "I've just submitted a package with
new backgrounds [1] for laughlin release of fedora. Would be nice if you could
switch to them in our default installation as we (fedora design team) would like
to have them in F14 Alpha. Thanks.    For gnome, you'd want to require laughlin-
backgrounds-gnome (or its  virtual provides system-backgrounds-gnome)"    This
update does what he requests above.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update gnome-desktop' at the command line.
