Product     : Fedora 13
Version     : 1.4.4
Release     : 1.fc13
URL         : http://spectrum.im/
Summary     : XMPP transport/gateway
Description :
Spectrum is an XMPP transport/gateway. It allows XMPP users to communicate with
their friends who are using one of the supported networks. Spectrum is written
in C++ and uses the Gloox XMPP library and libpurple for “legacy networks”.
Spectrum supports a wide range of different networks such as ICQ, XMPP (Jabber,
GTalk), AIM, MSN, Facebook, Twitter, Gadu-Gadu, IRC and SIMPLE.

Update Information:

New upstream release.
* Error messages are sent in presences from transport contact.
* SQL statement to check if user is VIP can be changed in config
file using [database] vip_statement config.
* Fixed crash when there were buddies with non-unicode
characters in database
* ICQ: Fixed connecting the network with libpurple 2.7.7.
Upgrade to the latest upstream
* Various small fixes and fixes for crashes.
* Send mime-types in VCards.
* Sending statistics to anyone can be disabled by setting
[features] statistics=0.
* Added support for libevent. Epoll can be used instead of
poll by setting [service] eventloop=epoll. Use epoll only
with standard libpurple protocols, otherwise it doesn't
have to work well.
* Added new [registration] allowed_users=regexp config
variable to white-list registration usernames.
* ICQ: Fixed logging issues by disabling SSL and clientLogin.
* pytransports2spectrum: Fixed migration of utf8 usernames
from py-transports
* Bonjour: Added Bonjour protocol support.
* XMPP: Receiving VCards supported.
