Description :
GConf is a process-transparent configuration database API used to

support workgroup administration.

Update Information:

This update fixes a bug in the GConf defaults mechanism which is reponsible for
making e.g. the 'Make Default' button in the power preferences work. The bug
leads to overly stringent privilege checks when using the button.
