GLib is the low-level core library that forms the basis
for projects such as GTK+ and GNOME. It provides data structure

object system.

This package provides version 2 of GLib.

Update Information:

This update includes the latest upstream bug-fix release, and, more importantly,
fixes a misconfiguration that caused the i686 build to use slow mutex-based
implementation for atomic operations.
