Description :
Veusz is a scientific plotting package, designed to create
publication-ready Postscript/PDF/SVG output. It features GUI,
command-line, and scripting interfaces. Graphs are constructed from
widgets, allowing complex layouts to be designed. Veusz supports
plotting functions, data with errors, keys, labels, stacked plots,
multiple plots, contours, shapes and fitting data.

Update Information:

Updates to the latest verson of Veusz. This includes a much improved SVG export
filter. Custom functions and constants can be defined for evaluating
expressions. Datasets and widgets may include unicode characters.  Data file
descriptor syntax is more tolerant of syntax. There are new line and markers
styles. Image widgets' transparency can be specified on a per-pixel basis. Axis
ticks on the outside of axes are supported. A new polygon plotting widget has
been added. The data capture dialog can be told to only retain the last N values

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update veusz' at the command line.
