Sugar provides simple yet powerful means of engaging young
children in the world of learning that is opened up by computers
and the Internet. With Sugar, even the youngest learner will quickly

authentic problem-solving.  Sugar promotes sharing, collaborative
learning, and reflection, developing skills that help them in all
aspects of life.

Sugar is also the desktop environment for the One Laptop Per Child

Update Information:

These updates bring Sugar to the next minor pre-release on its way to the final
0.88 release. Changes include:    * sugar: create the DSObject update listener
as well for existing entries  * sugar-toolkit: add GConf key for specifying
alternate locale dir (#1721)  * sugar-toolkit: use the correct icon for the 3G
device  * sugar-toolkit: Pin Punk Configuration for 3G devices  * sugar-jukebox:
updated translations  * sugar-jukebox: objectchooser window call fixed

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update sugar' at the command line.
