Description :
Rakarrack is a basic rack of effects for guitar. 10 effects. Two EQ
(multiband and parametric), distortion, overdrive, echo, chorus,
flanger, phaser, compression and reverb. Real time processing. JACK
support. Online tuner. Bank & Preset management.

Most of the effects are based on the magnificent work done by Paul
Nasca Octavian in ZynAddSubFX synthesizer. The compressor is based on
ArtsCompressor of Matthias Kretzer & Stefen Westerfeld. The tuner was
adapted from tuneit, a tuner in text mode created by Mario Lang. Paul
Nasca is our hero and a continuous inspiration

Update Information:

Update rakarrack to 0.5.8 Equinox release, including:      New Bank File format,
including a utility "rakconvert" to convert Bank files to the new format.
New Effects:  Valve, Dual Flange, Ring, Exciter, Expander, DistBand, Arpie,
Shuffle, Synthfilter, VaryBand, Convolotron, Looper, MuTroMojo, Echoverse,
CoilCrafter, ShelfBoost, Vocoder, Sustainer, Sequence, Shifter, StompBox,
Reverbtron, Echotron.      New Features:  Tap Tempo.  Upsampling using
libsamplerate by Erik de Castro Lopo.  Downsample intesive CPU effects.
Upsample Waveshapper.  ACI Analog Control Interface.      Waveshappers:  M.Saw,
Compress, Overdrive, Soft, Super Soft, Gard Compress, Lmt-NoGain, Hard Compress,
FET, DynoFET, Valve1, Valve2, Diode clipper.      LFO Modulation:  M.Saw,
L.Fractal.      Improvements:  GUI  DC Filter Offset at the input.  Tuner
Callibration  Auto Connect jack input ports.      GUI and bug fixes.

su -c 'yum update rakarrack' at the command line.
