--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : cups
Product : Fedora 12
Version : 1.4.4
Release : 9.fc12
URL : http://www.cups.org/
Summary : Common Unix Printing System
Description :
The Common UNIX Printing System provides a portable printing layer for
UNIX® operating systems. It has been developed by Easy Software Products
to promote a standard printing solution for all UNIX vendors and users.
CUPS provides the System V and Berkeley command-line interfaces.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

This update fixes thread-safety issues in the libcups library by once again compiling it with threading support. This has been disabled due to a problem with thread-safety in libgcrypt, used by gnutls. In order to continue to use gnutls, CUPS has been modified to perform its own locking rather than rely on the unreliable locking model provided by libgcrypt.

Additionally some other small fixes have been included.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog:
