Name : udev
Product : Fedora 15
Version : 166
Release : 2.fc15
URL : http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/hotplug/udev.html
Summary : A rule-based device node and kernel event manager
Description :
udev is a collection of tools and a daemon to manage events received
from the kernel and deal with them in user-space. Primarily this
involves managing permissions, and creating and removing meaningful
symlinks to device nodes in /dev when hardware is discovered or
removed from the system.

Update Information:

This update adds the necessary udev rules in libconcord and ACL information in udev to ensure the device nodes for Harmony remote controls can be read by normal users, resolving bug #559412. It also removes the dependencies on HAL and PolicyKit, as the udev rules should be sufficient, thus resolving bug #688792.
