Description :

The gnome-desktop package contains an internal library
(libgnomedesktop) used to implement some portions of the GNOME
desktop, and also some data files and other shared components of the
GNOME user environment.

Update Information:

This update prevents a crash in applications that are using the GnomeRR apis (such as gnome-screensaver and gnome-settings-daemon), when running on displays without the XRANDR extension.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update gnome-desktop3' at the command line.
