Name : gnome-power-manager
Product : Fedora 15
Version : 3.0.0
Release : 3.fc15
URL : http://projects.gnome.org/gnome-power-manager/
Summary : GNOME power management service
Description :
GNOME Power Manager uses the information and facilities provided by UPower
displaying icons and handling user callbacks in an interactive GNOME session.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

This update fixes a problem in the backlight logic introduced in gnome-power-manager-2.91.92-1.fc15. The bug would result in the display on supported systems dimming each time the system was unplugged or went idle, but not brightening again when the system was replugged or went active, and eventually would result in the system being stuck at the lowest possible screen brightness until the user re-set it manually. The update should result in the brightness increasing when the system goes from idle to active, or from battery to mains power.

This bug was reported as GNOME bug #650405, and was discussed to some degree in Fedora bug #689896, though that report is actually intended for a different issue which is not fixed by this update.
