telepathy-salut is a Telepathy connection manager for link-local XMPP.
Normally, XMPP does not support direct client-to-client interactions,
since it requires authentication with a server.  This package makes
it is possible to establish an XMPP-like communications system on a
local network using zero-configuration networking.

Update Information:

Latest stable release. Fixes include:
* fd.o#40035: the ContactInfo Connection interface has been implemented, so extra information about contacts, like first and last names, are now exposed in a nice way and can be shown in clients.
* Fix send_ll_pep_event public utility function to construct PEP messages correctly.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update telepathy-salut' at the command line.
