Update Information:

Current alexandria may show some garbage characters on book entry when upgrading from F-16 or below to F-17, due to some yaml generation change on ruby side from ruby 1.8.x to 1.9.x. This new alexandria will try to handle previous yaml format.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update alexandria' at the command line.
