Description :
KRemoteControl (formerly known as KDELirc) is a KDE frontend for your
remote controls. It allows to configure actions for button presses on
remotes. All types of remotes supported by the Solid module in the KDE
platform are also supported by KRemoteControl (e.g. with the Linux
Infrared Remote Control system (LIRC) as backend).

Update Information:

These updates are the fifth in a series of monthly stabilization updates to the 4.8 series. 4.8.5 updates bring many bugfixes and translation updates on top of the latest edition in the 4.8 series and are recommended updates for everyone running 4.8.4 or earlier versions.
