Name : systemd
Product : Fedora 18
Version : 195
Release : 10.fc18
URL : http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd
Summary : A System and Service Manager
Description :
systemd is a system and service manager for Linux, compatible with
SysV and LSB init scripts. systemd provides aggressive parallelization
capabilities, uses socket and D-Bus activation for starting services,
offers on-demand starting of daemons, keeps track of processes using
Linux cgroups, supports snapshotting and restoring of the system
state, maintains mount and automount points and implements an
elaborate transactional dependency-based service control logic. It can
work as a drop-in replacement for sysvinit.

Update Information:

This update fixes several systemd bugs:

- assertion failure after pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL at a specific time during boot
- several crasher bugs in systemd and journald
- some memory leaks in error paths
- sysctl: skipped keys in a config file
- journal: missing SYSLOG_IDENTIFIER
- journal: wrong parsing of monotonic kernel timestamps
- hwclock: sealing of the kernel's time-warp from inside the initrd
- systemd-cgls: 'n/a' in process names
- udev: HP iLO devices unresponsive due to unsafe power control
- units: TERM variable was not passed to the shell
