Name : gcc
Product : Fedora 17
Version : 4.7.0
Release : 0.19.fc17
URL : http://gcc.gnu.org
Summary : Various compilers (C, C++, Objective-C, Java, ...)
Description :
The gcc package contains the GNU Compiler Collection version 4.7.
You'll need this package in order to compile C code.

Update Information:
Another ABI issue, mangling of operator"" has been fixed. I hope this doesn't affect anything in the distro yet, user defined literals are new in GCC 4.7.
Can be tested with
find /usr/lib/debug -name \*.debug -a -type f \
| xargs fgrep 'operator""'
(after installing all *-debuginfo* packages, or for each debuginfo package unpack it temporarily, check *.debug files in it, then remove the tree).

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update gcc' at the command line.
