Name : rpm
Product : Fedora 17
Version :
Release : 14.fc17
URL : http://www.rpm.org/
Summary : The RPM package management system
Description :
The RPM Package Manager (RPM) is a powerful command line driven
package management system capable of installing, uninstalling,
verifying, querying, and updating software packages. Each software
package consists of an archive of files along with information about
the package like its version, a description, etc.

Update Information:

This update fixes assorted bugs in rpm. In addition to the referred bug numbers, this fixes prior test-transaction (such as when using yum) preventing %pretrans scriptlet symlink <-> directory replacement tricks from working.

[ 1 ] Bug #766260 - yum transaction ends on unknow error if not space left on /boot
[ 2 ] Bug #782147 - RPM Python Bindings are leaking. This has caused a huge leak in setroubleshoot, when it hits an AVC storm.
  [ 3 ] Bug #797964 - rpm -V format changed gratuitously (?)
  [ 4 ] Bug #782970 - rpmbuild processes %include directive even if inside non-matching %if
  [ 5 ] Bug #745629 - %exclude causes a fatal build error on -ENOENT

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update rpm' at the command line.
For more information, refer to "Managing Software with yum",
available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.

All packages are signed with the Fedora Project GPG key. More details on the
