Name : systemd
Product : Fedora 17
Version : 44
Release : 1.fc17
URL : http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd
Summary : A System and Service Manager
Description :
systemd is a system and service manager for Linux, compatible with
SysV and LSB init scripts. systemd provides aggressive parallelization
capabilities, uses socket and D-Bus activation for starting services,
offers on-demand starting of daemons, keeps track of processes using
Linux cgroups, supports snapshotting and restoring of the system
state, maintains mount and automount points and implements an
elaborate transactional dependency-based service control logic. It can
work as a drop-in replacement for sysvinit.

Update Information:

Fixes a number of bugs reported in rhbz, but even more reported upstream.

[ 1 ] Bug #798760 - systemd-journal does not record the SELinux context of a process that exits as soon as it sends the syslog message
[ 2 ] Bug #784921 - Support for chrooted services is not good
  [ 3 ] Bug #783134 - no error reported when Key=value appeared outside of a [Section]
  [ 4 ] Bug #768523 - .mount unit with missing What= crashes systemd
  [ 5 ] Bug #781735 - autorelabel is too slow by a factor of 5 or 6
