Name : kernel
Product : Fedora 18
Version : 3.6.0
Release : 3.fc18
URL : http://www.kernel.org/
Summary : The Linux kernel
Description :
The kernel package contains the Linux kernel (vmlinuz), the core of any
Linux operating system. The kernel handles the basic functions
of the operating system: memory allocation, process allocation, device
input and output, etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

Linux 3.6.0 build. This build also turns off debugging.
Update to 3.6-rc7-git1. This also switches the kernel module signing infrastructure to use X.509 certificates instead of PGP keys. This will more closely match what winds up in the upstream kernel.
