vi editor.  Vi was the first real screen-based editor for UNIX, and is
still very popular.  VIM improves on vi by adding new features:

Update Information:

Update to the latest upstream version. Ruby and Python libraries are now being loaded dynamically if they are available. This removes the dependency on ruby and python during the installation.
