This extension uses libmemcached library to provide API for communicating
with memcached servers.

memcached is a high-performance, distributed memory object caching system,
generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web
applications by alleviating database load.

It also provides a session handler (memcached).

* Drop support for libmemcached 0.x series, now 1.0.x is required
* Add support for virtual bucket distribution
* Fix compilation against PHP 5.2

RPM changes:
* Allow build with libmemcached < 1.0.10

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update php-pecl-memcached' at the command line.
