Name : perl-Dist-Zilla
Product : Fedora 18
Version : 4.300023
Release : 1.fc18
URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Dist-Zilla/
Summary : Distribution builder; installer not included!
Description :
Dist::Zilla builds distributions of code to be uploaded to the CPAN. In
this respect, it is like ExtUtils::MakeMaker, Module::Build, or
Module::Install. Unlike those tools, however, it is not also a system for
installing code that has been downloaded from the CPAN. Since it's only run
by authors, and is meant to be run on a repository checkout rather than on
published, released code, it can do much more than those tools, and is free
to make much more ludicrous demands in terms of prerequisites.

Update Information:

This Dist-Zilla update includes:
* do not detect an escaped "\$VERSION =" as an assignment to a variable (this is sort of a half-measure)
* 'dzil run' also edits $PATH to include ExecDir directories
* plugins can now provide a MANIFEST.SKIP that can be processed by ManifestSkip. Previously generated content was just ignored.
* GenerateFile can now also template its filename, with the name_is_template option
* properly set the working directory when testing
* avoid looking outside the dist during testing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update perl-Dist-Zilla' at the command line.
