Name        : php
Product     : Fedora 18
Version     : 5.4.7
Release     : 5.fc18
URL         : http://www.php.net/
Summary : PHP scripting language for creating dynamic web sites
Description :
PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. PHP attempts to make it
easy for developers to write dynamically generated web pages. PHP also
offers built-in database integration for several commercial and
non-commercial database management systems, so writing a
database-enabled webpage with PHP is fairly simple. The most common
use of PHP coding is probably as a replacement for CGI scripts.

The php package contains the module which adds support for the PHP
language to Apache HTTP Server.

Update Information:

The PHP development team would like to announce the immediate availability of PHP 5.4.7. Over 20 bugs were fixed. All users of PHP are encouraged to upgrade to this release.

The list of changes is recorded in the ChangeLog: http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-5.php#5.4.7

In this version, session save path is no more set in php.ini but in SAPI configuration file:
* for mod_php, in /etc/httpd/conf.d/php.conf
* for php-fpm, in /etc/php-fpm.d/*conf

php-dba now correctly use libdb version 5.
