Squashfs is a highly compressed read-only filesystem for Linux.  This package
contains the utilities for manipulating squashfs filesystems.

Update Information:

Despite being a pre-release, I believe this version is better than 4.2. In particular there is a lot more checking to make sure bad data won't lead to a compromise.
The only place where you might need to tweak something is if you are using exclude or sort lists with " or \ in file names. These are now treated specially.
