Name : lvm2
Product : Fedora 19
Version : 2.02.98
Release : 11.fc19
URL : http://sources.redhat.com/lvm2
Summary : Userland logical volume management tools
Description :
LVM2 includes all of the support for handling read/write operations on
physical volumes (hard disks, RAID-Systems, magneto optical, etc.,
multiple devices (MD), see mdadd(8) or even loop devices, see
losetup(8)), creating volume groups (kind of virtual disks) from one
or more physical volumes and creating one or more logical volumes
(kind of logical partitions) in volume groups.

Update Information:

This update fixes a bug in handling LVM metadata areas while using lvmetad. There was an integer overflow which caused lseek errors or even a data corruption if the metadata area offset/size is more than 4GiB (32+ bit offset/size). The bug could be hit mostly when using two metadata copies where the second copy is placed at the end of the underlying disk.

This update also adds requirement for latest device-mapper-persistent-data package which is needed for proper thin provisioning support in LVM. It also fixes an incorrect requirement for utin-linux package.
