Upstream notes on this release:
- Use vfork in place of fork, as the child process is short-lived and does not write to heap
- Fit the help string to 80 characters
- Fix compilation on BSD (and possibly MacOSX)
- Make sure the server does not die from SIGPIPE when replying to a client, since the client might have been killed by SIGINT
