Product : Fedora 18
Version : 195
Release : 15.fc18
URL : http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd
Summary : A System and Service Manager
Description :
systemd is a system and service manager for Linux, compatible with
SysV and LSB init scripts. systemd provides aggressive parallelization
capabilities, uses socket and D-Bus activation for starting services,
offers on-demand starting of daemons, keeps track of processes using
Linux cgroups, supports snapshotting and restoring of the system
state, maintains mount and automount points and implements an
elaborate transactional dependency-based service control logic. It can
work as a drop-in replacement for sysvinit.

Update Information:

This update takes over the old system-setup-keyboard X config snippet to ensure X keyboard layout configuration persists on upgrade from Fedora 17 to Fedora 18, and improves mapping between console and xkb keyboard layouts to fix bug #889562 for a few layouts.
