Description :
Lsof stands for LiSt Open Files, and it does just that: it lists
information about files that are open by the processes running on a
UNIX system.

Update Information:

This update brings updated version (4.87) of lsof package. The most notable change is support for using the getxattr() call to obtain socket protocol identification when it can't be obtained from the /proc/net files that lsof examines. This feature requires kernel 3.7 or newer.
