GConf is a process-transparent configuration database API used to
store user preferences. It has pluggable backends and features to
support workgroup administration.

This update attempts to correct a defect where new configuration
information may not be picked up immediately in the running session.
This may fix sporadic crashes and failures with evolution and other programs that use GConf.
