Description :
MySQL Connector/Python is implementing the MySQL Client/Server protocol
completely in Python. No MySQL libraries are needed, and no compilation
is necessary to run this Python DB API v2.0 compliant driver.

Update Information:
Version 1.0.10 (2013-05-02):
- Fixed MySQLConnection.cmd_shutdown() method to accept shutdown types. A new constants class ShutdownType was added. (BUG#16234441)
- Added support for LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE. (BUG#16369511)
- Removed non-GPL documentation from GPL packages. Added README_DOCS.txt with URL of the online manual and downloads. (BUG#16430013)
- Fixed SSL certificate checking and error reporting. We introduced a new connection argument ssl_verify_cert. When set to True,
it will verify the server certificate (using ssl.CERT_REQUIRED). (BUG#16400735)

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update mysql-connector-python' at the command line.
