Update Information:

This update adds -fstack-protector-strong and -fdiagnostics-color={never,auto,always} (default is never so far, unless GCC_COLORS= env var is set to non-empty string).  This is based on 4.8.1-rc1, so close to the final 4.8.1.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update gcc' at the command line.
