The Simulation Description Format (SDF) is an XML file format used to
describe all the elements in a software simulation environment. Originally
part of the Gazebo 3D robotic simulator, sdformat is a C++ library for reading
and writing files in the sdf format.

Update Information:

This update brings gazebo up to date with the latest 3.x series release (3.1.0).  Its dependencies (sdformat and urdfdom) had to be updated as part of this process. The console-bridge library is also updated to a more recent upstream version.
