This is an ANSI C port of Google's Snappy library. Snappy is a compression
library designed for speed rather than compression ratios.

Update Information:

This release corrects a test to work on AArch64 and PPC64 platforms. It also corrects GCC compiler detection. It specifies all build-time dependencies.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use
su -c 'yum update csnappy' at the command line.
