Characters is a simple utility application to find and insert unusual

Update Information:

  gnome-characters-3.17.90-2.fc23  - Force-update the icon cache for the gnome
theme. This is necessary   because icons were moved from gnome to hicolor, and
if we don't update   the gnome icon cache, it hides the icons in lower hicolor
theme.   This is a one-shot fix, and should be removed in the next package
update.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update gnome-characters' at the command line.
