Version : 1.1.0
Release : 2.fc23
URL : http://oprofile.sf.net

Description :
OProfile is a profiling system for systems running Linux. The
profiling runs transparently during the background, and profile data
can be collected at any time. OProfile makes use of the hardware performance
counters provided on Intel P6, and AMD Athlon family processors, and can use
the RTC for profiling on other x86 processor types.

See the HTML documentation for further details.

Update Information:

OProfile-1.0.0 operf command corrupted header information in temporary files
which prevented operf from recording data. This issue has been addressed with
the rebase to oprofile-1.1.0. The rebase to oprofile-1.1.0 also adds support
for the following processors: * Broadcom Brahmma-B15 CPU * Intel Skylake *
Intel Airmont * Intel Xeon D
