libgdata is a GLib-based library for accessing online service APIs using the
GData protocol --- most notably, Google's services. It provides APIs to access
the common Google services, and has full asynchronous support.

Update Information:

A new libgdata ABI that supports the new Drive and YouTube APIs. A compatibility package has been introduced to retain the older ABI. Applications that interact with Drive and YouTube have been rebuilt.
