Name : dracut
Product : Fedora 23
Version : 043
Release : 61.git20151120.fc23
URL : https://dracut.wiki.kernel.org/
Summary : Initramfs generator using udev
Description :
dracut contains tools to create a bootable initramfs for 2.6 Linux kernels.
Unlike existing implementations, dracut does hard-code as little as possible
into the initramfs. dracut contains various modules which are driven by the
event-based udev. Having root on MD, DM, LVM2, LUKS is supported as well as
NFS, iSCSI, NBD, FCoE with the dracut-network package.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

4.4 kernels do not have the config option CONFIG_MICROCODE_*_EARLY anymore.
dracut used that as a marker to include the microcode in the initramfs. Users,
which are concerned about the microcode update to be executed as early as
possible should recreate the initramfs, if they have already installed a 4.4
kernel using the command: # dracut --force
