The givaro, fflas-ffpack, and linbox updates represent several years of work,
and therefore the changes are large.  See the project pages for more

://common-lisp.net/project/ecl/files/release/16.1.2/announcement.html for
changes in ecl 16.1.2.  Maxima and sagemath were rebuilt for the other package
changes, but have not changed themselves.
