**Version 2.7.0** - 2016-04-28  - [#25](https://github.com/zendframework/zend-
file/pull/25) adds and publishes documentation to

[#25](https://github.com/zendframework/zend-file/pull/25) deprecates the
`Zend\File\Transfer` subcomponent. Its functionality is now split between each
of:     - zend-filter, for moving uploaded files to their final location,
renaming  them, and potentially transforming them.     - zend-validator, for
validating upload succes, file type, hash, etc.     - zend-progressbar, for
managing upload status.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update php-zendframework-zend-file' at the command line.
