Grr... this *used* to work, 
http://dl.sourceforge.net/%{name}/%{name}-%{version}-r1.tar.bz2
but now, it appears, one must prepend a mirror, so use (something like):
http://osdn.dl.sourceforge.net/%{name}/%{name}-%{version}-r1.tar.bz2
