This bugreport may not be the perfect place, but could you give a 
summary as to why FE don't suit you, in case it points at weaknesses
of the community?

Having packages enter fedora is only part of the job. Having packages
of the highest quality is another aim, even if they don't enter
fedora extras. And lastly attracting packagers is also an important
aim, but here it is a miss ;-).
